Zipline & Hoyo Azul From our own Experience

I must say, this one of my favorite adventures in Punta Cana.

Our pick up was scheduled at 7:30 am at the gate of the Hotel Dominican Beach, and by the time we arrived the bus was already there.

We got to the reception and everything was organized and ran smoothly. The guides were very friendly and ready to take care of us, and they prepared us with detailed instructions before the zipline.

At first, I was soo scared because it was my first time doing a zipline, but the next 7 were an amazing adrenaline rush. Flying above the forest with my heart pumping was so much fun, I loved it!

There’s only one season all year which is summer, and during the journey it gets very hot, especially if you are not used to the outdoor climbing and stairs. While going from one zipline to another there are refreshments, so you don’t get dehydrated. I also recommend that you bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

After ziplining we took a break and had some breakfasts, they also provide snacks like sandwiches, chips, soda and water. That was really nice.

After the break we went to Hoyo Azul, and I must say that after the ziplining, the warm sun, and the climbing, this was very relaxing.

Before you get too excited and jump in the water, you’ll get some friendly instructions from the guide.

If you are the type of person who loves the nature like me, you will love this adventure in Punta Cana. On our way to Hoyo Azul, we walk through this amazing forest full of flowers and orchids. More refreshments are provided there as well.

Hoyo Azul is a natural crystalline lagoon with azure waters at the base of a towering cliff, which streams from an underground reservoir. You can relax and take a dip in the fresh water.

This is a MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE when you visit Punta Cana.

Hope you like it as much as we did 😉
